New York voters will head to the polls this week to vote for state-level candidates in a number of primary races, from the Democratic matchup between Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Cynthia Nixon, to the four-person free-for-all in the state attorney general’s race, to a slate of state Senate and Assembly contests – including primary challenges of every state senator who was a member of the now-defunct Independent Democratic Conference.
Here’s the latest – and likely final – rundown from the state Board of Elections of every candidate on the ballot in the races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, comptroller and every state Senate and Assembly seat.
In those races where there are two or more candidates listed for the same party, they will be on the ballot in this Thursday’s primary. The list also includes candidates who won’t be on the ballot until the November general election – as well as a number of incumbents who aren’t facing any challengers at all.
