Eric Adams’ ‘All my haters become my waiters’ saying makes Jeopardy
It’s not the first time that New York’s political world has made the famous game show.

In the March 24 game of "Jeopardy," a $1,200 Double Jeopardy clue read: “Eric Adams is fond of saying, ‘All my haters become my waiters when I sit down at the table of’ this.” Host Ken Jennings responded to the motivational slogan with some confusion: “Yes, a puzzling proverb from Mayor Adams.” While the mayor’s odd phrases are old hat at City & State, they found a new audience on "Jeopardy" – and greater attention for our corner of New York politics. It’s not the first New York political clue that has appeared on the game show, so here are some other notable clues. (Answers are below the picture.)
