Some campaign contributions stand out more than others.

Money is power in politics and seeing who is making contributions can provide interesting insights into who is part of a candidate’s circle of friends and political allies. Looking through the campaign finance filings is also a little like seeing who’s sitting on Celebrity Row at Madison Square Garden. Released March 17, the latest campaign filings in the New York City mayoral primary were no exception.
