In 2022, Ulster County’s winning “I Voted” contest sticker – a bright, multicolored spider – got people excited to receive such a fun and creative design as part of the voting process. Other counties across the state have followed suit in the past couple years with contests of their own. It’s also a great way to involve young people in this civic duty, since the art contests solicit entries from local students. Here are five of the top designs from counties across New York this year.
