Staff predictions for New York primary day
The wait is over, New Yorkers. After weeks of pandering, eating pizza with forks, rallies, jabs and yes, #NYvalues, Empire State residents can now cast their ballots in the most significant New York primary election in recent memory.
While we wait on the polls to close, I took the liberty of polling some of our Slant staff and contributors to get their primary day predictions for the Republican and Democratic presidential primaries and the special election races to replace the convicted Sheldon Silver and Dean Skelos. Feel free to point and laugh or tell us how wrong we were at the end of the night.
