11:10 AM	Promoting Mental Health, Care & Treatment There is no way to deny that mental health affects New Yorkers on a daily basis as seen on our streets, transit, hospitals, homes, schools, etc. New York comes together in times of need, and there are many great programs that help New Yorkers of all ages, with various mental health needs including substance-use disorder programs. Since we know that economic status, physical environment, education level and more can impact people’s health and drug addiction, we need to work on the root as well as the issues once they arise. Advances are still needed. During this discussion, we will talk about all of these issues and ideas that are working and new ones that need to be put in place.
