New York's JFK is one of the busiest airports in the nation, handling nearly 62 million passengers a year, supporting 280,000 jobs, and generating more than $51 billion in sales and $17.1 billion in wages. It is an essential component of the world’s air transportation system and a regional economic driver.
The Terminal 6 project is part of the Port Authority's $18 billion transformation of JFK under the leadership of Governor Hochul, and it is just one component in the Port Authority's overall $30 billion commitment to creating world-class facilities at all of the region's airports.
